AI Ready Schools (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides this Site. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through aireadyschools.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We have written this policy in the plainest language we could while still being precise.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information you provide to us through forms on the Site, and a limited set of technical information that is generated automatically when you visit the Site.
Information you provide. When you submit an inquiry, we collect the district or organization name, district size, state or region, your name, your professional role, your email address, and the details of your inquiry. When you complete the AI Readiness Index, we collect the district name, your name, your professional role, your email address, and your responses to the assessment questions.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider receives standard log information, including the requesting IP address, the page requested, and the timestamp. We use this information to operate and secure the Site.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. The Site is intended for use by school district leaders and staff.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries you submit through the Site.
- Generate the AI Readiness Index report for your district.
- Follow up with you regarding partnership opportunities.
- Maintain a record of inquiries and assessments to inform our work.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
We do not use submitted information for advertising, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
How We Store and Share Information
Form submissions are stored in Google Forms and Google Sheets within an account controlled by the Company. Google acts as a service provider and processes this information under its own privacy commitments to its enterprise customers.
We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Site and the Company, such as our hosting provider and our email provider, subject to confidentiality obligations.
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, necessary to enforce our agreements, or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.
Data Retention
We retain inquiry and assessment information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the Company, comply with our legal obligations, and respond to your communications. You may request deletion of your information at any time by writing to hello@aireadyschools.com.
Cookies and Analytics
We use a minimal set of technical cookies that are necessary for the Site to function. The Site does not currently set advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting provider and update this policy accordingly.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the information you submit. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be intercepted or accessed without authorization. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
Student Data and FERPA
The Site is designed for use by school district leaders, not students, and we do not solicit student records or student personally identifiable information through the Site. When we engage with a district under a contract, the parties may agree to additional terms, including a Student Data Privacy Agreement, that govern any student-related information shared during the engagement. This Privacy Policy does not modify those agreements.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a portable copy of the information. To exercise these rights, write to hello@aireadyschools.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
California residents. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Site.
